Bet On Brazil Sportsbook Review

*Warning: From August 2017, Bet on Brazil was replaced by the SportNation bookmaker – Bet on Brazil will no longer operate, but SportNation will be still working closely with Alan Brazil.

With a number of operators having closed their doors to British customers, it’s great to see a brand new bookmaker come along and support the betting community in the UK. They have a great ambassador too in Alan Brazil who will be a familiar radio personality to some and a former Scottish footballer who appeared for Spurs, Manchester United and Ipswich Town amongst others.

But we need more than just a familiar face to entice us in and to sign up for a new account so what else can we look forward to at Bet on Brazil?

Bet On Brazil Promotions

Bet on Brazil’s standard welcome offer is a 100% match on your first deposit and that can earn a maximum amount of £50.00. The minimum entry level is set at £10.00 and there is a 10x rollover requirement with odds on qualifying bets of 1.5 or longer.

As an alternative to this, the bookie lists a number of weekly enhanced odds deals in the football markets and the numbers involved offer more value than most. Check updates for details of these.

Ongoing promos are also available including a regular loyalty programme known as the acca club which can return up to £20.00 in free bets every week.

For a new bookmaker, this is a very good set of offers and it’s great to see such a wide list so soon in an operator’s lifespan.

Sports Markets and Odds Value

This is one area where Bet On Brazil might be looking to improve in the future. Currently, the list of available markets here is restricted to the following sports:

American Football, Basketball, Boxing, Cricket, Darts, F1, Football, Golf, Horse Racing, Snooker, Tennis, Volleyball.

What you can say is that they do have all the popular options there and for UK bettors, it’s good to see that the bookie has horse racing covered, but the list needs to grow and hopefully it will do just that in the very near future.

It’s very early to assess prices too but early signs are very promising with football offering very competitive odds as you might expect.

Banking

This is another area where Bet on Brazil will want to offer some increased options in the very near future. As of January 2017, you could only deposit to and withdraw from your account using any of the major debit cards.

While that’s a probable option for most of us, a significant proportion of the betting community would prefer to use an eWallet at times so hopefully some of these providers will be added to the roster in the very near future.

Customer Service

There is a live chat operator which is a good sign early on but it isn’t available on a 24/7 basis. Check the site for details but typically this will be on offer from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday – UK time.
Alternatively, you can contact the operator via e-mail and there is also a list of Frequently Asked Questions. Once again, the list could be improved upon but this time it’s a better offering than in other areas.

Conclusion

We use the term ‘a work in progress’ quite a lot and that’s certainly a phrase you can associate with Bet on Brazil. There are definite positives and those promotions, including some very generous enhanced odds offers, are very impressive indeed.

The list of sporting markets does need to expand as does the choice of funding options but the welcome bonuses mean that you have a very good reason to get in here right at the start.

Pros

  • Welcome offer worth up to £50.00 as a 100% match on first deposit
  • Regular enhanced odds promos for new customers and a good range of ongoing offers once on board
  • Good early set of customer service options including live chat (check for available hours)

Cons

  • List of available sports is quite small but this is a new bookmaker so expect that to increase
  • Very restricted set of funding options but again, this will hopefully increase
