BETDAQ Continue Horse Racing Push with ARC Racetracks Deal

Table of Contents

Betting exchange company BETDAQ have arguably been the busiest of all iGaming brands when it comes to sponsoring horse racing up and down the UK. That’s certainly been the case in recent months but the latest announcement appears to herald the biggest deal of them all.

It’s been confirmed that BETDAQ will be sponsoring no fewer than nine starting stalls at courses owned by the Arena Racing Company (ARC), thereby extending a deal that has already proved productive for both parties.

Coverage

The arrangement means that the operator will be able to display their brand logo on all stalls at the participating tracks providing there isn’t an overriding sponsor already involved. This means that the coverage is set to take in up to 1,000 races in venues that are regularly picked up by the TV Channels.

Broadcasters Sky Sports and At the Races will therefore be adding to the exposure already enjoyed by BETDAQ as they make their way into thousands of viewing homes in the UK and beyond.

The betting brand is very progressive in terms of their horse racing coverage and this significant extension has naturally been welcomed by both parties.

Goodwill

Shane Mclaughlin

Managing Director of BETDAQ Shane Mclaughlin said:

BETDAQ are pleased to enter into this partnership with Arena Racing for the remainder of the 2018 flat season.

Branding their starting stalls will enable us to further deliver the 2% value commission message and build on the positive momentum and goodwill the brand has been receiving from the racing fraternity over a number of months.

In reply, Director of Partnerships at ARC, David Leyden Dunbar added:

We’re delighted that BETDAQ has chosen to build on their racing sponsorship portfolio by becoming ARC’s group starting stalls partner.

Each of our flat tracks are looking forward to working with the team at BETDAQ to ensure we help promote the betting exchange across this summer’s flat racing.

Busy Period

While they undoubtedly have other interests, BETDAQ’s main focus in terms of commercial partnerships has been on horse racing in recent times and for regular racegoers and watchers, they may even start to become the sport’s most familiar brand.

Clearly that’s the aim for an exchange who takes the sport very seriously. Recently, the operator has secured new partnership deals at Kempton Park while extending its title sponsorship of the Punchestown Champion Hurdle.

At the same time, BETDAQ made full use of their presence at meetings by sponsoring a number of individual races that showcased their new 2% commission deal on settled bets.

It’s the sort of commitment that will resonate well with punters at a time when many new operators are starting out with no available horse racing markets. The betting community tend to stick with the established brands for this particular sport and BETDAQ have been working hard to build their own reputation.

This latest deal involving nine starting stalls at ARC venues will only serve to enhance their standing amongst the community and the question now is ‘what’s next’ in terms of BETDAQ’s ongoing commitment to UK and Irish horse racing.
