Irish 1000 Guineas: Get an Enhanced 7/1 on Favourite Winter with 888Sport

Aidan O’Brien

A great Irish Classic goes off at the Curragh on Sunday when the 1000 Guineas is held and it’s a race where top trainer Aidan O’Brien dominates the declaration. Eight fillies are provided by the Ballydoyle Stud this weekend including the favourite Winter who is odds on across the sportsbooks.

In the standard markets, 888Sport are among a number of bookies offering 4/5 on O’Brien’s mount but, via this new customer promotion, you can claim an excellent enhanced figure of 7/1.

Next steps

Winter

While 888 have that 4/5 general book price, you can improve on it slightly at Boylesports who are listing 5/6 so, that 7/1 figure is certainly worth a second look. To claim it, you must be a new customer at 888Sport and the first step is to sign up via the link.

That initial process is very fast and should take just a couple of minutes, after which you will be taken to the cashier where you should deposit at least £10.00 via a debit or credit card. With those funds at the ready, stake between £5.00 and £10.00 on Winter to win the Irish Guineas this Sunday and, if you are successful with your bet, here’s how you will be paid.

Profits at 888Sport’s book price, currently 4/5 will be paid as cash back into your account while the balance, up to that enhanced figure of 7/1, comes back as free bet tokens. These will come within 72 hours and are usually much quicker but look out for them as, when they do drop in, you have 7 days in which to use them before they expire.

Please remember to check all terms and conditions relating to this offer.

Set to dominate?

With up to eight horses running at the Curragh on Sunday, the biggest challenge to Winter could come from O’Brien himself but there is a significant gap between that odds on price and second favourite Rehana, who is out at 11/2 with William Hill and Coral.

Winner of the corresponding 1000 Guineas at Newmarket, Winter has won twice in five outings but is expected to improve from here and is the classiest horse in the field. It’s not a nailed on certainty but if you were looking at the favourite on Sunday and you qualify for this offer, 7/1 on the favourite could be the best price boost of the sporting weekend.
