Some Early Cheltenham Offers to Whet Your Appetite
It’s nearly here! The first great event of the season for horse racing fans is just weeks away with the Cheltenham Festival getting ready for the off and it’s a time when the betting community as a whole focuses on four days of top class National Hunt renewals.
Yes, we may have already seen the Super Bowl and we’re enjoying Rugby’s Six Nations right now but this is where the sporting year really starts. And, as the festival gets ever closer, the horse racing betting sites have already been busy with a host of offers and promotions.
More of these deals will undoubtedly come through as we work through March but here are some of the best early promos for Cheltenham 2017.
Non Runner No Bet
A number of bookies have already declared a non runner, no bet offer and these are all very similar with just some subtle differences between the various providers.
Paddy Power start things off here and like all of these deals, the terms are very straightforward. Stake in the ante post markets on any Cheltenham race and if your horse is subsequently declared as a non-runner, the bookie will refund your outlay.
Perhaps the important point to note here is that qualifying bets must be placed after 20:00 hrs UK time on February 10.
Once again, bet365 will refund your stake in the event that you back a subsequent non-runner. They do not mention a start date for the offer but we recommend that you check all terms and conditions of ay promotion before going ahead.
Same as before, with SkyBet you can bet on the festival and stakes will be returned in the event of a horse not running. No start date is mentioned so once again, you should check the offer.
More of these non runner offers are likely to come in before the first day of the meeting so keep reading for updates or check with your usual bookie. A number of outlets are also making sure you are aware that they offer a best odds guarantee at the festival as part of their regular promise in this respect.
Win a trip to the Festival
Bet on Brazil are a progressive new bookmaker and, as we will see in a little while, they have already published some great enhanced odds offers for Cheltenham this year. Aside from that, the operator is also running a competition where you could be in with a chance of winning one of 4 pairs of hospitality tickets for the festival itself.
To get on the Cheltenham leaderboard and be in with a chance of claiming a prize, you need to place qualifying bets in any given game week. Points are then awarded with levels based on the odds that you’ve taken and whether you bet is a single or a multiple.
At the end of the week, one lucky winner will be drawn from the leaderboard and they will get a pair of those tickets. Anyone in the top five for that week will also receive a football jersey so this is a good promo to check out in great detail as there are a number of rewards up for grabs.
You can find a detailed assessment of all the new customer, enhanced odds offers here but the bookmakers have already been busy with these. More will surely follow but as we head towards the end of February, here’s what we already know.
Bet On Brazil have published three price boost deals for new customers thus far: The first of these takes Unowhatimeanharry and lifts the book price up to 33/1 for the Stayers Hurdle. Secondly, Bet on Brazil are quoting a massive enhanced figure of 33/1 on Douvan in the Champion Chase.
As a final tempter, the same bookie has Altior in the Arkle Trophy and listed that same 33/1 price but perhaps the most exciting price boost of all comes from dedicated horse racing bookie RaceBets. Over here, new customers can get a massive enhanced deal that offers 40/1 on Willie Mullins to train any winner on day one of the festival. An outcome that is perhaps more likely than many other potential bets covered by these enhanced deals.
Don’t forget to check all the terms of these offers as there is some excellent value to be had here and there will certainly be more of these arriving in the weeks and days that lie ahead.
It all starts on Tuesday March 14 so look forward to four great days of jumping and keep watching the updates for news of more great bookmaker promotions.
